From that point of view we’ve developed a high quality nutrition supplement to complete your daily oral hygiene. A special teeth and bone formula we call supplements for health!
Oral care from within
The capsules contain both minerals and vitamins according to the biologic ratios and are designed according to the orthomolecular nutrition standards. The way bluem® teeth & bone formula works is also called ‘synergistic’ because the different nutrients in this formula reinforce each other’s positive qualities. Because of the synergy, the biological conditions and the high quality of the ingredients this supplement is the best addition to dental practices.

Effect on blood clotting
Caution in use of blood thinners, such as coumarin derivatives:
Although the amount of vitamin K2 remains well within the maximum amount allowed.

blue®m teeth & bone formula consists of a unique and high quality composition of ingredients.
Vitamin D3, a fat soluble vitamin, is important for strong teeth and bones and promotes the absorption of the minerals calcium and phosphorus from the intestine, and regulates the calcium metabolism in the body. Vitamin D also plays a role in maintaining strength and proper function of the muscles. Vitamin D has a caries inhibiting effect at a serum concentration above 75 to 100 nmol / ml. The main source of vitamin D is sunlight. Vitamin D is made in the skin by the influence of sunlight.
Vitamin D works best in collaboration with vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus and vitamin K. For bluem® Teeth & Bone Formula is a high dose of natural vitamin D3 selected from wool grease (suitable for vegetarians).
Vitamin K, a fat soluble vitamin, is essential for blood clotting, but also for the bone metabolism. Vitamin K is more important for our health than we previously thought. Vitamin K is essential for the activity of osteocalcin, a bone protein that plays an important role in the formation and maintenance of healthy and well-mineralized bone tissue. These new features fulfills vitamin K2 (menaquinone) much better than vitamin K1 (phylloquinone), the main source of vitamin K in the western diet.
Vitamin K is also essential for the activity of a specific tissue protein (matrix Gla protein), which helps the artery walls, the articular cartilage and other soft tissues in the body to stay flexible and clean by binding calcium. Vitamin K transports calcium to the bones.
Vitamin B6, a water soluble vitamin, is involved in more than 100 enzymatic reactions in the body, which are mainly related to the energy production and the metabolism of fats and proteins. B6 (pyridoxine) is important for the resistance and the digestive system. In addition, it plays a role in the formation of red blood cells and further ensures a proper functioning of the nervous system. Vitamin B6 has been added to bluem® Teeth & Bone Formula to promote magnesium uptake in the cell. Vitamin B6, B12 and folic acid reduce homocysteine levels. High homocysteine levels are commonly found in osteoporosis and can damage bones and collagen.
Folic acid (vitamin B11) is important for a proper function of the nervous system and the immune system. Folic acid also plays an important role in cell mitosis, the formation of amino acids and the formation of red blood cells. Vitamin B6, B12 and folic acid reduce homocysteine levels. High homocysteine levels are commonly found in osteoporosis and can damage bones and collagen.
Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is important for a good resistance. In addition, it plays a role in the formation of healthy red blood cells, a good function of the nervous system and it contributes to the energy supply. Further, it plays a role in the metabolism of folic acid and promotes cellular repair processes. Vitamin B6, B12 and folic acid reduce homocysteine levels. High homocysteine levels are commonly found in osteoporosis and can damage bones and collagen.
Zinc is found in all body tissues and is necessary in building proteins and thus for the growth and regeneration of tissue (wound healing). Zinc ensures healthy bones, hair and skin, and a good memory. In addition, it plays a role in the building and breakdown of carbohydrates and fats and catalyzes more than 100 enzymes. Zinc is part of the hormone insulin and causes the immune system working properly. It also contributes to fertility. Zinc and copper are antagonists and are, therefore, preferably taken in combination.
The body contains more calcium than any other mineral and is the building material for strong bones and teeth. Also, calcium is necessary for a proper functioning of the muscles, and for guiding impulses to the nerves. Calcium is furthermore involved in the wound healing, blood clotting, blood pressure regulation, cell growth and hormone metabolism. In addition, it adds to the energy of our body cells. The calcium absorption from the small intestine is partly dependent on sufficient intake of vitamin A, C and D, magnesium and proteins. The correct distribution of calcium in the body is also dependent on sufficient vitamin K2.
Magnesium is involved in more than 300 enzymatic reactions in the body. Magnesium is necessary for the metabolism of calcium and vitamin C, the transmission of nerve impulses and the proper functioning of muscles. Further provides magnesium for healthy bones and teeth and is necessary for building muscle. It also contributes to the energy of our body, relaxes blood vessels and decreases blood pressure.
Although the above minerals are essential for healthy bone metabolism, their effectiveness is limited if they do not receive assistance from vitamin D3 and K2
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), a water soluble vitamin, is in the first place is important for a good resistance. In addition, vitamin C helps to keep blood vessels healthy and elastic and lowers cholesterol levels. All tissues that give our body structure and firmness, as the joints, tendons, skin, muscles (including the heart muscle), bone and connective tissue are dependent on the constructive activity of vitamin C. Vitamin C promotes healthy bones, teeth, skin and blood vessels and accelerates the healing process after surgery.
Vitamin A comes in two forms, as vitamin A (retinol) and provitamin A (β-carotene). It is a fat-soluble vitamin, is involved in the resistance and is therefore often referred to as the anti-infection vitamin. It promotes growth, vision, gives strong bones, healthy skin, healthy hair, strong teeth and gums. Vitamin A promotes wound healing after a dental treatment. bluem® added the well absorbable β-carotene as vitamin A-form to the formula.
The essential mineral manganese is required for the formation of bone and connective tissue. Further, manganese is involved in the metabolism of amino acids, cholesterol and carbohydrates. In addition, it contributes to the protection of body cells to oxidative stress and energy management of our bodies.
Copper ensures that iron is recorded in hemoglobin, the red dye in our blood, and thus plays a role in the transport of oxygen in the body. Copper is also involved in the pigmentation of hair and skin and in connective tissue- and bone formation. Copper is also important for a good resistance and contributes to the energy of our body. Zinc and copper are antagonists and are, therefore, preferably taken in combination.

I use blood thinners, what's the risk?
Caution in use of blood thinners, such as coumarin derivatives: although the amount of vitamin K2 remains well within the maximum amount allowed, it is recommended to contact your doctor before using a product with vitamin K. Vitamin K inhibits the effect of anticoagulants. The same goes for magnesium.
Warning : consult your doctor before usage in case of disease, medication, pregnancy or lactation.
What's the recommended dosage?
3 times daily 1 capsule
- adults prior to or during an active dental treatment
- elderly with osteoporosis
- adults with caries or a (strong) increased risk of caries
2 times daily 1 capsule
- adults as a long-term maintenance dose for 3 months after dental surgery, for example after placing an implant.
