Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the world we live in were to improve markedly? As Confucius said, “A superior man is modest in his speech, but excels in his actions.”
To accomplish change, you need one maverick who stands out from the crowd. If no-one follows his lead, though, he’ll remain a lone eccentric and it will never become a movement. So what is actually more important than the first mover is the group of people who become his first disciples. This is where the difference lies between a one-man band and a true social movement. We asked some of our early adopters what they’re doing to get things moving, and how they make a difference.

Helping others to lead better lives is my objective. How lovely it would be if the earth were to become a planet that was easy to live on, where honest people could flourish, with no wars, famines or oppression. That’s what I do my best to achieve. As a dentist and surgeon, I don’t just help resolve problems in the mouth; I also seek as far as I can to contribute to changing people’s lives. I see and speak to so many different people each day. By asking them questions about their lifestyle, for instance, I help make them more conscious. This is an added dimension besides my technical work, and it’s a valuable job that
I appreciate doing. When I see initiatives by people or organisations who commit themselves with noble intent to improve the lives of others, I’m only too glad to join in — and blue®m is one of those. Their use of oxygen is nothing short of revolutionary. It’s so pure and effective, but above all, it’s a sorely-needed substance to promote healing and relieve pain.

I’m sure blue®m is able to deliver a major contribution to the health and well-being of humanity and animals.

Health is very important to me. In general, we Europeans want to be more healthy. We want to source our products from sustainable sources and want to use products that are natural and not chemically based. I look to live an honest and healthy life and to treat people the same as I would like them to treat me. It’s important for me to be very fair with people so that I can sleep at night with a clear conscience. Blue®m, to me, signifies a healthy lifestyle. I was introduced to blue®m by a customer of ours, Peter Fairbairn.

The visuals on the packaging were great, the theory seemed good, the people at blue®m were very nice and responsive to our questions and lastly, when we tried it, it really worked extremely well. One of our co-directors used to have bleeding gums after flossing, but not any longer. The feedback from our customers suggests to us that blue®m is a special product. My dream is to leave a legacy in the way that our companies co-operates in helping people living a healthier and better lives with a conscience.

When I had to have 26 crowns done, I went looking to find the world’s best toothpaste. This is how I found blue®m on the Internet. I’ve been a loyal user of it for years now, and I can’t do without the oxygen any more. I’ll keep using it three times a day for the rest of my life. By the way, I’m a very regular kind of person.

I take it as it comes and have a pretty calm existence. Sadly, I’m not able to help solve the world’s problems, as I don’t have that kind of knowledge or wisdom. What I do understand is that people’s expertise and good intentions are what is going to make the difference in the changes that very much are going to come.

Actually, it was by sheer chance that I came into contact with blue®m. I could sense at once that this was something completely different from anything else I’d come across in dentistry, and that was remarkable enough. That feeling has never worn off, especially now that I can see we’re really helping people with the oxygen gel. At the hospital in Cuiába, here in Brazil, it’s even being used to treat serious burns. I saw a boy completely covered in third-degree burns; it was so moving to see the hope mixed with gratitude in his father’s eyes. It left me feeling very emotional. I’m a family man and my family is what I live for. That’s a huge responsibility to have, particularly in a country such as Brazil. Even so, I do try to get the most out of life, as you only live once! I believe you can achieve your all in life if you make sure you have only one goal that you truly believe in and work for with all your might. To me, the key motives are honesty, gratitude and trust.

We are what we eat, and what we breathe. But are we even aware of what we’re eating, and do we truly know what we’re deriving from our diet? My wish is that doctors become better informed about diet and supplements; that they start seeing the body more as a system and prescribe medication less hastily.

But ultimately, it all starts with ourselves, of course. We are the advocates of our own health, and we need to remain critical of what we’re doing, even
in terms of the medicines we’re taking. At my practice, for instance, I always look at the whole person. There’s nothing finer than seeking connections between someone’s lifestyle and their oral health. I bombard them with questions first, and then I put them together like a jigsaw puzzle. I’m keen to give my patients as much knowledge and as many tools as I can, enabling them to work on their own health, including oral health, for themselves. Nowadays, a blood test is great at indicating any deficiencies people have. The well-balanced blue®m supplements are a real break- through, including in the treating of gum disease.

There’s so little evident respect for each other and for the earth. The unprecedented plundering of the planet, people’s craving for power, the disrespectful treatment of women — it often grieves me deeply and leaves me feeling angry. I’m enthusiastic, though, about the new insights and ideas that are helping make life more liveable. The blue®m philosophy is a perfect match for my view of health. Based on respect for nature, people, animals and the earth, I am constantly seeking improvements to my own life and those of others, trying to avoid well-trodden routes as far as possible in my quest. A real triumph for me is that I had the privilege of developing the blue®m range of supplements and am now enjoying seeking the results. Doing oral care from the inside outwards is a matter of changing your thinking. I’m all in for trying to readdress the balance in this world, all of us together!
